Summer holidays nearly over.. whooosh.

Well, I thought... the blog is well overdue for an update!

I had a second relapse recently and I had not fully recovered from the previous one. This time it decided to hit me during the water problems Gloucestershire had , and hit me hard it did. I lost sensation from my hips downwards and my Neurologist decided to hospitalise me!! I was in hospital from a Wednesday to a Friday and had yet another course of steroids.

Mentally and spiritually I felt strong - just my body was not keeping up. Jonathan (husband) had to take time off again to look after me but his work was very understanding.I had also sorted out for son to stay with one of his aunties and it thankfully coincided with my week in hospital. The following week I stayed with my parents (a wonderful restful time) for a few days my other sister had my son at the same time.

My parents-in-law came down to Cheltenham for a few days at the end of July and it was a lovely time had by all, then my son went to aunties again and had a great time.

Then a normal at home week for us arrived and this was followed closely by the holiday club held at a local church.
Whoosh summer holidays nearly over and I am getting sensation back slowly and I AM being good doing my exercises etc!

The Lord has been so good to me at this trying time , in fact I have probably had an easier time than husband and son dealing with things. I have had so much peace in the Lord it is truly wonderful.

I am still fighting fatigue and walking isn't easy but I look to the time when I will have a perfect body in Heaven, joining in fellowship and praising my Lord Jesus for helping a sinner such as I.
